Lufthansa has opened 2 new lounges at Berlin Brandenburg Airport. Frequent flyers and premium passengers flying with Lufthansa and other Star Alliance members have been able to enjoy the new Senator and Business lounges since April 3.
Lufthansa First Class and Business Class passengers, as well as Star Alliance Gold frequent flyers traveling through Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER), can relax in one of the two new lounges in the new terminal. Meanwhile, HON Circle members can use the more spacious Tempelhof Business Lounge.
The Lufthansa Senator Lounge and Lufthansa Business Lounge are designed around a modern living-room concept, with all-day buffets and local art in a special, feel-good atmosphere. The lounges are located in Terminal 1, near Gate B20.
The brand-new Senator Lounge has dedicated areas for relaxing, working and dining in peace and quiet. In a novel concept, guests can take part in designing the lounge by submitting their own digital artwork through an app, with selected pieces chosen to decorate the walls.
Meanwhile, the newly decorated Business Lounge welcomes guests with warm, homely decor. It includes a TV club where passengers can relax to classical music and enjoy broadcasts of concerts and films. There is also a “book wall” with a collection of illustrated books curated by teNeues, a German publisher, which passengers can enjoy from comfortable armchairs overlooking the runway while waiting to board.
Food and drinks are served in both lounges as all-day buffets, including breakfast, vegetarian and vegan dishes, and a wide variety of hot and cold drinks. There is also a separate private relaxation area for HON Circle members. The Senator Lounge is open to all First Class passengers flying with Star Alliance members, including Lufthansa Senator and HON Circle members.
Meanwhile, the Business Lounge is reserved for Star Alliance Business Class passengers, top-tier mileage travelers and frequent flyers of other Star Alliance members, including Air Canada, Avianca, Singapore Airlines, Turkish Airlines, United Airlines and more.
Lufthansa Business Class lounges are currently located at many airports across Germany, including Frankfurt (FRA), Munich (MUC) and Stuttgart (STR).
