7. Your current original passport, with at least 6 months of validity remaining (counted from the date you leave the destination country or the last day you fly back to Thailand). If you have an old passport, bring it along. Make 2 photocopies of the photo page of your current passport and sign them as certified true copies. If you have previously held a Schengen visa in an old passport, copy that visa page and the photo page of the old passport, and certify the copies as true. / Some countries also require copies of the inside pages of your current passport: copy every page that has a visa or a stamp; blank pages do not need to be copied.
8. 1 copy of your national ID card
9. 1 copy of your house registration. Translation into English is required only for the documents of minors, and only when you want to attach proof of family relationships.
10. 1 copy of the birth certificate for children under 18, translated into English (bring the original birth certificate to show on the day of your visa appointment).
11. Copies of your marriage certificate, divorce certificate, or name or surname change certificate, translated into English.

2. Bank statement: an English document issued by the bank covering the past 6 months (some countries require only the past 3 months). The account holder's name must be in English. It must be issued by the bank no more than 7 days before your visa appointment and show enough funds for the trip. (On the day of your appointment, bring your original bank passbook with the latest updated balance, in case the officer asks to see it.)
13. If someone is sponsoring your travel costs, such as a family member, child or spouse: the main account holder who is the sponsor must write and type a sponsorship letter in English, stating that they will sponsor the trip and specifying the relationship. Attach copies of the sponsor's two financial documents, signed as certified true copies (the sponsor does not need to come to the embassy). Do not forget to attach a copy of the passport photo page of the person being sponsored (signed as a certified true copy), together with documents showing the relationship and their translations, such as a marriage certificate, birth certificate or house registration. - If you are not legally married but have a child together, submit a copy of the child's birth certificate and its translation.
14. The document must be issued by the company no more than 1 month before your visa appointment.
15. If you are a business owner: attach your trade registration or company affidavit (use the original company affidavit only, and only the first page showing the names of the company directors). The document must be issued by the Department of Business Development no more than 1 month before your visa appointment (it must be translated into English), signed and stamped with the company seal.
16. If you are retired: a copy of your government pension card and its translation, signed as a certified true copy (submission is optional).

If you are a homemaker with no source of income: submit copies of your husband's financial documents instead of your own, together with an English sponsorship letter from your husband stating that he will cover your expenses, a copy of the photo page of his passport, and documents proving your relationship, such as a copy of your marriage certificate (translated into English). If you are not legally married, submit your child's birth certificate or house registration instead, since both parents' names appear on the child's documents (translated into English). / Sponsors, please do not forget to sign every copy as a certified true copy.
