A year-round fjord tour operated by Tromsø Accessible Tours aboard a wheelchair-accessible Mercedes-Benz Sprinter minibus. Departing Tromsø, the tour crosses three fjords and travels through Kattfjordeidet on Kvaløya island, with short photo stops along the way where you might spot reindeer or other wildlife in nature.
The destination is Sommarøy island, where you will enjoy a warm two-course meal with coffee or tea at Sommarøy Arctic Hotel, equipped with wheelchair-accessible restrooms. The return drive follows the southeastern coastal road of Kvaløya, offering views of the strait and mountains toward Malangen, concluding at the meeting point after about 5 hours.
Easy difficulty, suitable for everyone. However, icy and snowy conditions may occur in winter, so warm winter clothing is recommended. Please inform us in advance if traveling with young children.
