Activenorth's afternoon tour runs in December, January, March, and April. The operator's bus departs Tromsø at 12:00 PM, taking about 2 hours to reach Skibotn Valley. You will spend around 3.5 hours at the camp, including preparation, safety briefing, snowmobiling, and enjoying a hot meal.

After a safety briefing and driving instructions, you will head out on a snowmobile ride for about 60 minutes through snow-covered forests and open mountain landscapes. Two people share one snowmobile and take turns driving, with photo stops along the way. From December to early January, the tour takes place in polar darkness. If conditions are favorable, you might spot the Northern Lights, though this is a natural phenomenon that cannot be guaranteed.

Drivers must bring a valid driver's license (all license types accepted). If you do not have a license, you can join as a passenger. Children aged 5 and older can participate. We recommend wearing thermal wool base layers, bringing spare wool socks, a scarf or buff, and goggles or sunglasses. Winter overalls, boots, gloves, and a balaclava/hat are provided. Our team can check availability and book for you.
