This activity takes you out of Tromsø city to the Kaldfjord fjord. When you arrive, your Coordinator hands out insulated dry suits that keep the water out and the warmth in. Everyone then goes down to float comfortably in the very cold sea water. The suit keeps you afloat without any effort, so there is no need to be able to swim at all.
The atmosphere changes with the seasons. In winter you may float beside sheets of ice, while in other seasons you see the fjord in a different way. Small groups of up to 8 people, with morning, afternoon and evening departures. Ideal for anyone who wants to try something new, couples, or friends who like a challenge that is not too strenuous. Participants must be 10 or older and in good health.
A tip for Thai travelers: prepare a truly warm base layer to wear under the suit, as a single T-shirt is not enough. Bring an extra warm top to put on after you get out of the water, and arrive at the meeting point at least 10 minutes early. Our team can check available departures and book for you.
