Once you cross the bridge from Tromsø to the island of Kvaløya, the city atmosphere disappears, leaving only high mountains, fjords and quiet coastal villages. Your local Coordinator will stop at several photo spots. Along the way, reindeer often roam freely, and you may see sea eagles flying over the fjord.
The highlight is Sommarøy, where the view opens up to a white sand beach, turquoise sea and small islands stretching to the horizon. It is a place where fishing village life and nature sit together in perfect harmony. Then stop for traditional Norwegian food with a warm drink at a chosen viewpoint before returning to the city.
Easy level. Children aged 6 and over can join. Suitable for families, seniors and cruise passengers with half a day to spare, as there is also a pickup point at Breivika port. Bring a windproof and waterproof jacket, gloves, warm shoes and drinking water. Our team can book it for you and help choose your pickup point.
