A small group walking tour by Northern Norway Travel exploring the heart of Tromsø, nicknamed the Paris of the North. Starting at the Northern Norway Travel Shop at Prostneset port at 10:00 or 14:00, the tour lasts around 2 hours with 4-10 participants and runs year-round.
An English-speaking coordinator takes you to key downtown landmarks and monuments, sharing how a small fishing village grew into a modern international city, along with time to explore the Polar Museum (admission included) to discover polar exploration history and the significance of its Arctic location.
If desired, the coordinator can take photos for you at scenic vantage points and send them after the tour at no extra charge. The tour concludes in town or at the cruise port. Comfortable walking shoes and rain gear are recommended if needed. Our team can check availability and book for you.
