A vehicle takes you from Tromsø to the North Experience base at Hatteng. Warm overalls and all the gear are provided here. Your Coordinator will explain safety and how to drive before you set off.
The trail is about 20 km long, passing through ever-changing terrain up into the snow-covered mountains. There are several stops for photos and playing in the snow. Two people share one snowmobile and can take turns driving several times if both have a driving licence. Afterwards, warm up back at the base with a hot meal and warm drinks.
The minimum age is 12. Children aged 12-15 must be at least 140 cm tall and can ride as passengers only. Drivers must hold a valid driving licence. Easy level, ideal for couples and friends who want a good amount of time on a snowmobile. The route and timing may be adjusted according to the weather and snow conditions. Wear a wool base layer to stay warm.
