This dog sledding tour by Kvaløya Husky departs from in front of Radisson Blu Hotel in Tromsø in the morning. Enjoy an approximately 90-minute drive to the kennel nestled beside Lake Jægervatnet with a small group capped at 8 people. Upon arrival, suit up in thermal winter wear and watch the team harness and hitch up the eager huskies to the sleds.
The coordinator teaches basic sled-driving techniques before setting off. Travelers pair up, with one driving and the other riding as a passenger, switching roles halfway through. Throughout the activity, there's ample time to cuddle and play with the dogs. Before returning, enjoy a warm, traditional Norwegian lunch prepared with local ingredients.
