This tour by operator Tromsø Aurora Husky departs from the Radisson Blu Hotel in Tromsø, with departures at 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Enjoy an approximate 30-minute ride to the husky camp on Kvaløya island, with a maximum of 15 people per departure. Upon arrival, meet the dogs and receive guidance from the coordinator. Thermal suits and winter boots are provided.
Each sled is pulled by up to 16 huskies, allowing families or groups of friends to ride together. An experienced coordinator rides along on every sled and offers the opportunity for one guest to try steering while the coordinator remains on board. After the sled run, relax at the camp with warm food, coffee, hot chocolate, or tea. Vegetarian and vegan options are available upon advance notice.
There is no age restriction; however, if traveling with toddlers or infants, please bring your own child safety equipment. We recommend wearing woolen base layers, wool socks, warm gloves, and a winter hat. Guests with limited mobility should notify us in advance. Our team can check availability and book this for you.
