In late autumn, before the heavy snow arrives, the huskies are still full of energy and ready to run. That's why this trip uses wheeled carts instead of sleds. From Tromsø, it's about a 90-minute drive to Skibotn Valley. Each cart carries two people, one driving and one riding, while our Coordinator leads the way in another vehicle.
The cart-driving activity takes about 60 minutes, with stops for photos and time with the dogs. Guests are split into two groups: the first group runs first and then has lunch, while the second group eats first and sets off at 11:30. The difficulty level is moderate and takes a fair amount of effort. It suits couples, small groups of friends and families with children aged 5 and over.
The weather at this time of year is cool and can be damp. The organizer provides waterproof, cold-weather suits, boots, gloves and hats, but on very cold days you should wear a wool or fleece base layer. The times 10:45 and 11:30 shown in the calendar are the activity times at Skibotn, not the departure times. Our team will let you know the correct meeting time when we confirm your booking.
