This evening tour runs from December to March and is operated by North Experience. The bus departs Tromsø at 5:00 PM for the camp at Hatteng. Upon arrival, enjoy a hot meal before receiving thermal suits and gear, followed by a safety briefing and driving instructions from the coordinator.
The 20 km trail traverses diverse terrains up into snowy mountains, spending about 1.5 to 2 hours on the snowmobile with several photo stops along the way. Two people share one snowmobile—one driving and one passenger—and you can switch driving roles multiple times if both hold valid licenses. Because it takes place in the evening, you may have a chance to spot the Northern Lights along the trail if conditions are clear.
The minimum age is 12 years old, and children aged 12–15 must be at least 140 cm tall. The difficulty level is moderate. We recommend wearing warm wool base layers and bringing a valid driver's license if you wish to drive. Please inform us of any food allergies upon booking. The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon subject to weather conditions and cannot be guaranteed. Our team can check availability and book for you.
