A cruise of about 4.5 hours aboard Hermes II, a wooden boat built in 1917, departing from the harbor in the center of Tromsø. Enjoy the Arctic coastline and the surrounding mountains. The captain chooses the fishing spots according to the wind and weather of the day.
Fishing rods and equipment are provided on board, or you can bring your own. About 5-6 rods can be used at the same time, so everyone takes turns fishing. Along the way, everyone gets a piece of traditional fish cake. If you catch fish, it will be cooked on board and served with flatbread and butter. Coffee and tea are available, while snacks and soft drinks can be bought on board. Bringing your own food is not allowed, except for young children or people with food allergies.
The boat has a warm cabin and a toilet, plus thermal suits and blankets, so it suits all ages, including families, seniors and first-time anglers. What you catch depends on luck that day, and the trip may be changed or canceled in bad weather. Our team can check which departures are available.
