In midwinter, Tromsø gets almost no sunshine, and the sky stays in twilight for most of the day. Riding an electric fatbike is another fun way to experience this atmosphere. The route follows snowy forest trails and quiet roads, with bike lights and head torches lighting the way. The coordinator adjusts the intensity of the trip to the fitness of the group.
It suits people who already know how to ride a bike and have moderate fitness, aged 12 and over, and at least 155 cm tall. Small group of 2-6 people. The difficulty may change depending on the snow conditions on the day. Hot drinks and snacks are provided along the way.
Dress in layers, starting with a wool base layer, then fleece, and a windproof and waterproof outer layer. Wear a thin hat under your helmet, warm gloves and a scarf. Bring a small backpack with a spare top and hot water in a flask. If you don't have winter clothing or boots, they can be rented, but must be booked in advance.
