This tour by operator Tromsø Outdoor begins with a scenic drive across Kvaløya Island (Kvaløya) from Tromsø (Tromsø), stopping for photos of Arctic landscapes along the way. Afterwards, take an easy walk up to coastal cliffs offering panoramic views of surrounding peaks and the sea. No climbing experience is required. Suitable for groups of 2-15 people, families, and beginners.
Your local coordinator will share stories about nature, wildlife, and life in the Arctic during the walk. You may spot reindeer or sea eagles. This tour runs during seasons when snow is not yet suitable for skiing or snowshoeing; spikes are provided if paths are icy. While system listings indicate October to February, it is currently available on request for private groups only and subject to weather conditions.
Please dress in warm, windproof, and waterproof layers, and wear sturdy, warm hiking boots (rentals available). Bring a small backpack with an extra warm layer and a water bottle.
