Polaria in Tromsø brings the knowledge of international Arctic researchers to visitors in a way that is easy to understand and vivid to picture. On this 60-minute tour, a coordinator takes you through the new exhibition, explaining northern ecosystems, how living things are connected, and the role humans play in the changes taking place.
In the Arctic aquarium you can see marine animals from the waters around Tromsø up close. The coordinator uses wireless headsets so you can hear clearly even when it is crowded. Groups are limited to 10 people, and the tour is given in English. It suits families, seniors, students and anyone interested in the environment, because the walk is very easy.
Good to know: this tour does not include admission to Polaria, which must be purchased separately, and the tour starts every day at 13:30. It takes place indoors at Polaria, making it a great option for days when the weather outside is not on your side. Our team can help fit it into your schedule.
