This tour starts in the center of Tromsø with an introduction to the city and a short history. You then stop at Kvaløya island and Telegrafbukta beach, visit Tromsø University Museum with a coordinator, and cross to the mainland to see the Arctic Cathedral. The coordinator tells you about the region, its plants, animals and geography all along the way.
A special feature is that the organizer, Tromsø Accessible Tours, welcomes wheelchair users and people who need extra assistance, including people with visual or hearing impairments and neurodivergent guests. It is therefore a great fit for seniors and multi-generational families. There is no age limit, but if you are traveling with very young children, please let us know in advance. The coordinator speaks English and Spanish, and other languages can be requested for an additional fee.
