Hosted by Troll Havn, this experience takes place at the Troll Museum on Kaigata street in central Tromsø. Starting at 5:00 PM and lasting about 1.5 to 2 hours, the venue offers window views of Mount Tromsdalstinden, a sacred mountain to the Sámi people.
Participants will meet a practicing Sámi shaman, explore the three worlds of shamanic cosmology, take part in a drum journey ceremony, and hold and play a sacred drum themselves. At the end, there is dedicated time for a personal Q&A session with the shaman about their life and spiritual practice.
As this is a spiritual cultural experience, guests should arrive with an open mind and a respectful attitude. Suitable for ages 12 and up, with groups of up to 25 people. No physical exertion required. Held indoors and available year-round, it is an ideal evening activity before heading out for Northern Lights hunting or on stormy days.
