This morning trip by Tromsø Villmarkssenter departs from the Radisson Blu Hotel in Tromsø, taking a 25-35 minute drive to the center situated in scenic nature. Gear up with warm winter suits, boots, and snowshoes, then hike with a coordinator for about 2 hours with one or two huskies accompanying you along the way.
The route is chosen based on weather conditions and group preferences. If the weather is good, enjoy a mid-trail break with homemade chocolate cake and hot drinks; otherwise, gather around the fire in a traditional gamme hut after the walk. Before returning, there is time to greet the husky pack at the center. This trip does not include dog sledding.
This is an active hike requiring reasonable physical fitness, suitable for ages 13 and up in groups of 2-20 people. Please bring sunglasses, gloves, and a warm hat. If you are unsure about fitness levels, our team can check with the operator. Our team can check availability and book for you.
