Tromsø has more folklore than many people expect. The Troll Museum's tour takes you through the city to open the door to the legends of northern Norway, including trolls, huldra and other supernatural beings, before you visit the museum with a coordinator who continues the stories in greater depth.
The atmosphere is fun, informative and just scary enough. It suits families with children, people who love folk tales and folk culture, and anyone who wants a different view of the city from a typical history tour. Coffee or tea is provided during the trip. Difficulty level: easy.
The tour runs on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 11:00 and on Thursdays at 16:00. A minimum of 4 participants is required. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. Our team can help you book a date that fits your travel schedule.
