An evening Northern Lights chase departing from central Tromsø, in a small group of no more than 8, traveling in a comfortable Mercedes. Our coordinator takes you out of the city, through snowy mountains and fjords, to find a spot where the sky is open and dark enough to see the Northern Lights.
While you wait, you sit around a campfire with a warm meal, snacks and hot drinks, and listen to the stories, legends and beliefs of the Sami people, whose lives have been connected to the Northern Lights for generations. It suits couples, families with children aged 7 and over, and first-time aurora watchers who want a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
Thermal suits and snow boots are available to borrow on this trip (please tell us your size in advance), but you should still bring warm clothes and good footwear of your own. The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon that depends on the weather each night, and nobody can guarantee them. Our team can check available dates and book for you.
