A 3-hour evening cruise from Tromsø on the wooden boat Hermes II, built in 1917 and beautifully restored. Your host tells the story of the boat and its role along the northern Norwegian coast. You can go out on deck for the view or relax in the warm cabin.
Dinner is a 3-course meal from the local fish shop Dragøy: warm fish cakes, creamy fish soup, and lefse, a Norwegian flatbread treat, for dessert, with coffee, tea and toddy. Thermal suits and blankets are provided. It suits couples, seniors and anyone who wants a special meal in a lovely atmosphere.
On clear nights you may see the northern lights over the mountains and fjord, but they cannot be guaranteed. Even if the sky is cloudy, you still get to experience an Arctic night from the sea. Please arrive at the harbor 15 minutes before departure. Outside food and drinks are not allowed on board, and the trip may be rescheduled or cancelled in bad weather.
