Fishing Winter Private trip, price per group CB-2678520

A private ice fishing trip exclusively for your group of 1-6 people, priced per group, operated by Explore the Arctic. Available exclusively during winter from December to March. The fishing locations rotate across different lakes on Kvaløya near Tromsø, depending on ice and weather conditions. These lakes are home to wild brown trout and Arctic char.

The experience begins with an introduction to the gear, ice fishing techniques, and local fish species. No prior experience is required, as the coordinator adapts the outing to your group's preferences and skill level. Enjoy a warm local lunch out on the ice, complete with hot coffee, tea, and traditional pastries, while hearing stories and local insights amidst the snowy wilderness. If ice and weather conditions allow, fjord ice fishing for cod may also be possible.

Thermal winter suits, boots, socks, hats, and mittens are fully provided, though you should wear warm thermal layers underneath. The meeting point is at Lauklines on Kvaløya with flexible start times. Round-trip transfers from central Tromsø are available at an additional charge.
