This trip takes you from Tromsø through Arctic landscapes and across the Ullsfjorden fjord by ferry to XLyngen Resort at Nord-Lenangen, in the northern part of the Lyngen Alps. The Coordinator team will provide warm overalls and teach you how to drive before you start.
The safari lasts about 2 hours along a set route, climbing to around 300 meters above sea level, with stops at viewpoints over the fjords and mountains. Your Coordinator shares local history and the fishing way of life that has shaped the community. On some days you may see eagles, foxes or moose, but wildlife sightings are not guaranteed. Afterwards, return to the resort restaurant for a warm meal with fresh bread, hot drinks and dessert.
Drivers must be 18 or older and hold a driving licence. Children aged 7-12 can ride as passengers if they can hold on by themselves. Moderate level, ideal for couples and families who love mountain views. If you choose the transfer from Tromsø, you will be back at around 16:15. Our team will take care of choosing your transfer option when you book.
