A trip running from December to March operated by Tromsø Arctic Reindeer. Transportation takes you from Tromsø to a reindeer camp set amidst nature. Before starting the hike, you will get to meet and feed the reindeer.
Then, receive your snowshoes and trekking poles, and walk with a coordinator for about 1 to 1.5 hours on the snowy hills around the camp. No prior experience is needed, but the difficulty level is moderate, so a reasonable level of physical fitness is recommended. After the walk, step inside to sit by the fire in a traditional gamme hut, enjoying a hot lunch, hot drinks, cake, and cookies. Gluten-free options are available—please inform us of any food allergies upon booking.
Children aged 8 and above can join. Please wear at least two warm layers, a warm hat, gloves, and winter boots. Morning (10:00) and afternoon (13:00) departures are available. Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before departure. Our team can check availability and book it for you.
