A year-round full-day tour operated by Northern Norway Travel by Mercedes Sprinter, departing Tromsø at 9:00 AM to loop around Kvaløya, Norway's fifth-largest island. Welcoming groups of 5 to 15 people with a driver and English-speaking coordinator.
Stop along the way at multiple scenic spots to photograph mountains and fjords while looking out for Arctic wildlife such as eagles, whales, seals, foxes, moose, and reindeer. Later, enjoy a two-course lunch at the Arctic Hotel in the village of Sommarøy, famous for its white sand beaches and crystal-clear waters. The return route follows the southern coast of Kvaløya with extra photo stops, offering views of the Malangen mountains and the dramatic peaks of Senja island in the distance.
Children from 7 years old are welcome. Easy difficulty. Please dress in warm layers with insulated boots in any season, and bring your camera. You will receive digital tour photos within 48 hours.
