This summer fishing trip (June–September) through the fjords around Tromsø aboard the Barracuda takes around 3 hours, combining fishing, scenic sightseeing, and wildlife spotting in one go. With small groups of just 3–4 guests, the captain provides personalized attention. The boat features a heated cabin, comfortable seating, a toilet, and hot and cold running water.
The captain will take you to fish for saltwater species like cod and pollock, and possibly trout as well, thanks to several freshwater streams flowing into the fjords. Full fishing gear is provided along with local technique coaching, and you can take your catch home. Keep an eye out along the way for sea eagles or seals! Complimentary coffee, tea, cake, and drinking water are served onboard. Mineral water is available for purchase, while outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the boat.
Please dress in weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes, and bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a camera or binoculars, and extra snacks as you like. Children aged 6 and up are welcome. For a private trip, departure times and routes can be customized for your group. Wildlife sightings depend on nature. Our team can check availability and book for you.
