This whale watching trip by Lyngen Experience departs from a small harbor at Nord-Lenangen in the Lyngen Alps. The boat departs at 9:30 AM and returns to port around 2:30 PM. The crew will take you to the feeding grounds of humpback whales, orcas, and other marine life, while sharing stories about whales and the Arctic marine ecosystem.
During the cruise, a light lunch and drinks are served on board, allowing you to relax surrounded by the sea and snowy mountains. This trip does not include transfers from Tromsø; travelers must drive themselves, park in the designated parking area, and walk down to the pier where the captain will be waiting. A minimum of 4 travelers is required; if this is not met, the trip will be cancelled 48 hours in advance with a full refund.
Dress appropriately for winter sea conditions, including windproof layers and gloves. Please arrive at the pier before 09:20. Whales are wild animals and a natural phenomenon dependent on weather conditions, so sightings cannot be guaranteed. If you need a rental car or transfers, our team can help plan it.
