Whale watching Winter CB-2689822

This trip lets you see the Arctic from both land and sea. Participants are split into 2 groups. One group cruises from Tromsø to Skjervøy for about 2.5 hours and returns by road. The other travels by road past the fjords and the Lyngen Alps, then cruises back. Either way, there is about 1.5 hours to search for and watch whales.

The Brim Explorer boat is an electric hybrid. When whales are spotted, it switches to electric mode to reduce noise and avoid disturbing the animals. The warm cabin has large windows, and you can buy food and drinks at the café on board. It suits anyone who wants to see a variety of scenery in a single day and who doesn't want to spend the whole day on a boat.

The trip lasts about 8-9 hours. The sea can be rough, so if you get seasick easily, bring medication, and dress warmly if you plan to go out on deck. If there are not enough participants, the trip may be changed to travel entirely by boat. The usual whale-watching season is from November to late January, and whales are not guaranteed.
