A snowshoeing trip operated by Wandering Owl departing from Tromsø at 10:00 AM into the nature of Kvaløya and Sommarøy, far away from city noise and light. Available from October to April, group size 4-15 people.
While walking on the snow, enjoy stunning views of fjords, valleys, and mountains. The coordinator chooses a scenic spot to relax with a light meal of locally sourced sandwiches and biscuits, while keeping an eye out for wildlife. Afterward, warm up with hot drinks before returning to the city center, and receive web-sized photos from the trip.
Moderate difficulty, suitable for children ages 4 and up. Please wear warm mid-layers, a windproof and waterproof jacket, hiking pants, and waterproof hiking boots. Wildlife sightings are natural and cannot be guaranteed. Our team can check availability and book for you.
