If you're taking a private tour of Germany with See You Again, you simply can't miss Neuschwanstein Castle. It is located in Fussen, not far from Munich, so if you're traveling around Munich you must go. It's also very crowded, so Rin recommends booking tickets in advance. It is considered the most beautiful castle in Europe, and the model for Disney's fairy-tale castle, as well as for Dream World back home in Thailand.

King Ludwig 2 of Bavaria wished to have it built as a secluded residence away from people, and as a tribute to the great composer Wagner, based on his work Lohengrin about the knight who rides a white swan. The castle was therefore decorated according to the story of that work. It was designed by Christian Jank, who was a theatre designer rather than an architect, which is why the castle feels so dreamy.

What to know about booking

1 Fill in the booking form, choosing the date, time and number of people carefully, not too many and not too few.
2 Enter a credit card to guarantee the booking. If the conditions are breached, you will be charged double.
3 You can cancel up to 24 hours before.
4 When the booking is confirmed, take the booking confirmation to collect the tickets and pay in cash at the Ticket-Center Hohenschwangau (not every group booking will be confirmed).
5 You should arrive at least 90 minutes early (Neuschwanstein Castle) to queue, collect tickets, and allow time to go up to the castle.
