Whether you book Lufthansa through Lufthansa Thailand, the Lufthansa call center or the Lufthansa office at Suvarnabhumi, Lufthansa flights earn miles in Miles & More, the mileage programme of Lufthansa and its partner airlines, which is free to join. Once registered, customers can earn points of three types:
1 Award miles
You can earn regular flight miles by flying with Lufthansa or Star Alliance members. You can also earn them by buying certain services, such as hotel stays, car rentals, or shopping with specially selected credit cards. You can then redeem them in many ways, and also use them to buy other products, such as holiday experiences.
Status miles can be earned only by flying with Lufthansa Group members or Star Alliance members. Each level gives benefits and privileges when you fly with Lufthansa.

Claiming retroactive mileage credit for Lufthansa flights
Lufthansa awards and status miles can be credited retroactively for flights taken within the last 6 months.

2 Log in and open the Lufthansa online form to claim retroactive mileage credit here
Notes
- Your miles will be credited to your mileage account once the details have been verified
- Please keep your receipts (such as boarding passes, tickets, car rental or partner receipts) until the miles have been credited to your account
- Please check your mileage account again before requesting retroactive mileage credit
- Miles that were not added to your account automatically can be credited retroactively within 6 months of your purchase date
- Miles are credited automatically only after you have used the service
- For flights, it may take up to 7 days after your flight is completed
