Pha Chana Dai, Khong Chiam

In the past it was very difficult to get here, with a walk of several kilometers. Now the road is good and you can drive right up.

From the payment point to the cliff, at the campground and the office, it is 13 km. The newly built road is very good but narrow.
So vehicles are scheduled to drive up and down according to the timetable in the picture below.

If you want to see the sunrise, you will need to stay overnight. If you don't bring your own tent, there are plenty to rent, at prices from 150 THB for one person to 225 THB for 3-4 people. Bedding: pillow 10 THB, mat 20 THB and sleeping bag 30 THB. There is a very large rock terrace for pitching tents, and you can park right next to your tent. The power here is solar, so don't expect many facilities. If you want AC power, bring your own inverter.

There is no restaurant, but instant noodles, tea and coffee are sold. If you are staying, you will need to bring your own food. There are not many restrooms, but they are new and very clean.

If you don't want to sleep up top, in Sasorn village, 3 km before the toll checkpoint, there is a community homestay called Sasorn Homestay. You can go and arrange a room when you arrive. The village has two or three quick-meal restaurants that are clean and decent, and there is a minimart as well.

Besides the cliff itself, Pha Chana Dai has plenty of beautiful rock formations to see. They are scattered in spots along the roadside, each with a sign and a parking area.
