Metro Fares in Greece

Greece is a very popular destination, as it is not a large country and has plenty of beautiful places to visit. The most popular city of all is the capital, Athens, which is where most travelers start their trip. Today, See You Again would like to share with you an easy way to get around Athens.

Getting around Athens is wonderfully easy. The transport system we want to introduce today is the metro, which is an extremely convenient way to travel in Athens. The metro is a public transport system serving the Athens urban area, and it began operating in 1869. There are 8 metro lines in total: Green Piraeus - Kifisia, Red Anthoupoli - Elliniko, Blue Egaleo - Doukissis Plakentias/Airport, Orange Petroupoli - Ethniki Odos, Dark Blue Fyli - Nea Elvetia, Pink Amalia Fleming - Vryoni/Perama, Yellow Chaidari - Poseidonos, and Brown, which runs in a circle.
